Julie Ali Folks need to remind the NDP that they are the people's party. They seem to be rather like the PCs in their policies. Where are the 2,000 long term care beds in the PUBLIC sector? Guess the NDP aren't interested in the public sector nature of the beds and if there are private real estate developers willing to share costs of making beds why not? The future is increased private continuing care in Alberta with attendant risks of less money devoted to patient care. But there you go folks. We voted NDP thinking we would get the people's party to help us and instead we discover they are more PC than the PCs ever were. The new elite.
